Life at Downfield
I love it! As you probably know, I am now at Downfield, as I got the required amount of GCSEs. English is great - of course - and I am studying Spies with Mrs Dale, and Othello with Mr Hannam.
I have had Mrs Dale before for English, and she is a very good teacher. Mr Hannam is a SHS teacher, so I have not had him before, and I don't know what he is like. He seems friendly enough, but he is not teaching us anything yet. (This is mainly because I have the same copy of Othell as him, which is a guide version and contains notes and things to help me understand the text. He just reads these out to the whole class to not down).
My IT teacher is Mr Leadly, another SHS teacher. He is rubbish, and almost as bad as Bobby at Marling, who didn't-teach-me anything for GCSE. (I got an A* in IT because 60% is cw, and I went into the exam with at least a B, thanks to Mr Bobby being such an easy person to please when it comes to CW). Anyway. Mr Leadly. We basically just get power point presentations, which show us what is exactly in the little book he gives us to read each week. Its boring, but probably still easy to pass.
And now we come to one of my favourite subjects: Ethcis/Philosophy. This is my new choice this year, and I love it so much. It really is me. I have two teachers for this subject, and they are fab. Miss Warren is great, and she is teaching me the Philosophical aspect.
//That is all I have time for at the moment, so come back soon and read the next thrilling instalment of Life at Downfield, when I had a chance to write it. //
